This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. The web server automatically logs technical access data on every visit, including: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system used, and the referring page.

This data is used exclusively for technical security, detecting and defending against attacks, and error diagnosis. The log file has a limited size and is rotated automatically, with older entries being overwritten. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).

This website does not use cookies.

To anonymously analyze visits to this website, I use the self-hosted open-source software Matomo, running on my own server at matomo.froodmat.com — no data is shared with third parties, no cloud service is involved.

No cookies are set; the analysis is cookie-less. Since no cookies are set and no data is combined with other services, consent is not required; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation and needs-based design of this website). Your browser’s "Do Not Track" setting is also automatically respected.

This website does not include a contact form. If you contact me by email, your details (email address, possibly your name, and the content of your message) are processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry and are not shared with third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry).

Photographs published on this website undergo technical processing before publication. In the process, metadata such as location (GPS coordinates) and camera model contained in the delivered image variants is removed.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from "http://" to "https://".

I reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to my services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
